Exploring Gender Injustice: Theatre for Living Power Play workshop

We invite you to join us for a 3-day creative process of a Theatre for Living Power Play to explore issues of gender injustice, led by experienced applied theatre practitioners Laura Strakova (US/CZ) and Elvira Castelino (IN). We will gather in Goa, India to create short Forum plays that ask how gender injustice manifests in our lives, what stops us from taking collective action, and what we need to respond. In Forum Theatre, we will collectively identify blockages and seek solutions that build connections and not more walls. A Power Play incorporates theatre games and exercises, Image Theatre, and play creation to explore issues and create community-specific theatre. The product is an audience-interactive Forum Theatre event.
